The influence and trend of 3D machine vision on the cable market

3D machine vision technology is an important part of computer science. Since its inception and development, 3D machine vision has a history of over 30 years. With the development of industrial automation, the functions and scope of use are gradually improved and popularized. With the expansion of usage requirements and technological progress, and the promotion of the needs of many industries, the "Made in China 2025" national policy promoted, 3D machine vision has entered a rapid development stage in China. The field of use includes almost all industries of national economic development, and the industry is the most used. In addition to the ever-increasing market size of machine vision, new standards and new technologies are being released soon, which also proves the prosperity of the market.

3D machine vision integrates optics, electronics, machinery, sensing and computers into one, and has strong technical barriers. For companies engaged in machine vision, the lack of any of these technologies will affect product development. In machine vision, the cable is used to connect the image acquisition end and the image processing end, and it is the intermediate contact person to complete the image data transmission and camera control. The quality of the cable directly affects the quality of the transmitted data. From a technical point of view, there will be several development trends in the machine vision industry this year.

1. Cross-industry collaboration. Many new uses of 3D machine vision components will cause vision manufacturers to encounter many interface standards that they are not familiar with. In order to solve the difference between these standards, all parties need to cooperate to share their expertise in order to better The data is acquired from the sensor and sent to the PC for processing.

2. Smart city. As part of the concept of "smart city", the visual system will be arranged in large numbers and used in traffic condition monitoring and license plate recognition, both of which are for traffic safety considerations. Advanced vision technology (including networked vehicle technology) will help reduce the number of vehicle collisions, deaths and injuries.

3. Unmanned store. Because no one has developed a store, 3D machine vision is becoming more and more popular with retailers. It is expected that in the next 3-5 years, retailers may rely heavily on the use of visual technology.

4. Hyperspectral application. PC-based hyperspectral imaging is used for material identification, object discovery, or process detection that cannot be done with the naked eye. Uses outside the manufacturing field are driving the growth of hyperspectral cameras, which combine spectroscopy and digital imaging. The use of military surveillance accounts for the largest portion of the hyperspectral imaging market, followed by environmental testing, mining, and mineral applications. In many medical and diagnostic applications, hyperspectral imaging will also be used. It is troublesome to analyze and process the data of hyperspectral imaging, which is also the main difficulty that hinders the development of the market. Another difficulty is the relatively high cost of hyperspectral cameras. Manufacturers are now trying to overcome these shortcomings.
