Introduction

The following is XiaoU's opinion on the future of 3D cameras.

With the gradual development of disruptive technologies such as machine vision and autonomous driving,

more and more applications are using 3D cameras for object recognition, behavior recognition, and scene

modeling. It can be said that 3D cameras are the eyes of terminals and robots.

With the advancement of hardware equipment, the speed of current 3D cameras has exceeded that of

human eyes by increasing the frame rate of cameras. In terms of accuracy, various methods are used to

actively project various light sources to assist 3D camera imaging. However, no matter how the technology

develops, the ultimate goal of 3D cameras is to be as flexible and reliable as human eyes, or even far

beyond them.

We firmly believe that after a long period of time in the future, a 3D imaging technology that transcends

the times will eventually emerge, which can be comparable to the human eye. It combines the strengths of

several 3D imaging technologies and is the ultimate path for the future development of 3D cameras.

The road is long and arduous, and I will continue to explore and encourage each other with my fellow

travelers!
